Our first society meeting will take place Friday March 15th from 6-9pm at the JW Marriott in Las Vegas.
There will be a call to action for committee participation. The board’s initial thought on committees:
Fellowship- development of formal fellowship training- initially for surgery
Educational/annual meeting/professional standards
Clinical Pathways/Best Practices
Research- CQI Development; additional research studies sponsored by AFS
Journal-first online publication that combines GI and Surgical specialties in foregut disease
Marketing/Social Media/Website development
